We specialize in a diverse range of Indian, Pakistani, and Kashmiri dishes, offering an inspired and flavorful experience to our customers. Our signature combo meals are loved by many, with the Gold Combo being the most popular. Other than the choice to express combo meals NAYAAB also offers a menu to order from and door catering in entertaining any life events.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef with expertise in Indian, Pakistani, and Kashmiri cuisine to join our team at NAYAAB. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques from these regions. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals that uphold our commitment to authentic flavors and exceptional presentation. In case you have some or more NAYAAB would also be looking at an opportunity to provide training and get you to a point where you would be master to such recipes. So passionate about different foods and experimenting with it is a must skill.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian, Pakistani, and Kashmiri dishes, including curries, kebabs, biryanis, and more.
Design and execute daily menus, focusing on quality, taste, and consistency.
Ensure all dishes are prepared according to NAYAAB's standards, with attention to detail in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and hygiene standards.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and high standards in food preparation.
Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal and promotional menus.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef, specializing in Indian, Pakistani, and/or Kashmiri cuisine.
Strong knowledge of traditional cooking methods and ingredients from these regions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially within a food court setting.
Creativity and innovation in menu development while staying true to traditional flavors.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Food handling manager certification preferred.
